Gary Pearl is CEO and Founder of entertainment production company Aquarius Television. He is Executive Producer of the CW network Golden Globe nominated show “Jane the Virgin”, based on the Venezuelan Telenovela “Juana La Virgen.” He recently won People’s Choice Award and AFI honors for his work on “Jane the Virgin”.

Aquarius Television sources and produces English language U.S. broadcast television cable and online as well as feature films based on original content from media library owners and prodcers worldwide.

Mr. Pear was President of Extremal Film Funding, LLC which was founded by Harold Vogel and Arthur De Vany, the two top economists in the film space. He also helped create a new model for film finance based on an innovative US distribution and foreign sales model.

Gary & VincaMr. Pearl is a former William Morris Agent where he packaged films and television properties and represented writers, directors, and actors. Having been an agent for 15 years, Pearl has relationships throughout the industry- Studio, Independent and International Film. Network, Cable Television and allied areas. Mr. Pearl was also an agent at Paradigm Agency and at International Creative Management (ICM).

In the mid-1990’s, Gary Pearl was Vice President of Production at Paramount Pictures based Cort-Madden Productions where he was involved as an executive developing the hit motion picture Save the Last Dance and the Golden Glove winning Something the Lord Made.

As an agent, Gary Pearl was involved in packaging and selling Good Will Hunting, Set it Off, as well as over 30 other studio and independent films. Additionally, Pearl has packaged many successful television series and films including Rated X directed by Emilio Estevez and starring Estevez and Charlie Sheen; Noriega directed by Roger Spottiswoode and starring Bob Haskins.

Gary Pearl produced Lionsgate’s Liberty Stands Still starring Wesley Snipes and Linda Florentino. He then produced 10.5, the most watched network mini-series of the last decade, starring Kim Delaney, Beau Bridges, Frank Langella, Kaley Cuoco, Dean Cain. 10.5 spawned a sequel mini-series, Appocolypse that Mr. Pearl also produced.
