INTERN OPPORTUNITIES

LA & BOSTON

Intern for Vinca Jarrett and Steven Adams on the SHOW ME THE F#©K!NG MONEY TV Series throughout the year at our offices in Boston and LA. Qualified Interns are:

  • Full or Part Time Students at an accredited U.S. School.
  • Have a strong interest and background in film and/or television production, finance or distribution.
  • Have good social and computer skills

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL, TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL, AMERICAN FILM MARKET, SUNDANCE & BERLINALE

  • Interns have an opportunity to attend a major festival with our company.
  • Students pay a fee for participation that varies from festival to festival and covers the costs of having them attend (in addition to their airfare).
  • A preference is given to students that intern for the companies during the school year or summer.
  • Interns will be:
    • Preparing One Sheets and Business Proposals
    • Preparing Company for Film Festivals
    • Scheduling Meetings and Communicating Regularly with Interviewees, sponsors and advertisers
    • Drafting Invoices and maintaining accounting records
    • Creating Newsletters and Event Invitations
    • Researching Industry Data
    • All students will need strong writing and organizational skills, as well as experience with computers (Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, Outlook)
    • All students should have a strong familiararity with social media posting and design
    • Students can also have a solid background in editing, producing and media design work

APPLICATION PROCESS

All candidates who are interested in applying should submit the following material by e-mail attachment or hard copies by mail to for the firm to review:

  • Resume
  • Cover Letter describing why you wish to participate in the internship
  • Four (4) References including names, title, phone, email and position you held for each reference (up to one can be a professor).

HOURS: During Festival, all students are full time, and all Festival Interns will need to dedicate 30 hours during the 30 days prior to departure. Winter/Fall Term interns shall work 10 hours/per week (which must be completed in two (2) days, and will begin working the week of January 7 and end the last week of April. Summer, interns work full time Monday through Wednesday from 9am to 6pm, and will begin working the week of June 3 and end the 2nd week of August.

PAY: There are no paid internships at SHOW ME THE F#©K!NG MONEY TV. Credit may be applied to from your school. Forms for credit programs and permission to participate from your school must be obtained prior to interviewing if you are seeking credit, and students should be prepared to disclose fully the rules and oversight required by us in order to maintain the credit program, including the name and number of any supervisor for the internship program for that student.
